Carlos had webinar to teach us about competence 14 to learn about values and ethical principles. During his webinar, We learnt to compare two main different points of view ethical vs unethical.
Misconduct, corruption, fraud, illegal behaviours  are unethical according to Enrich et al 2004. On the other hand, honesty, integrity, professionalism considered as ethical according to Kuther 2003. During his webinar, there were some interesting topics to discuss together such as do we receive some ethical training as new teacher. I personally have no teaching experiences. Ethical training will be definitely helpful to guide in new teaching environments.  It will definitely be related in safety, rules, regulations, behaviours especially when it needs control in certain cases.
I mentioned  notification obligation in child protection law (ilmoitusvellvollisuus in Finnish). Teacher's obligation to inform in unethical situation and emergency situation. Carlos's webinar was good to think about main points of what is unethical and ethical to connect safety and  be familiar with registration in law as teacher. 


´ Faith, hope, charity, prudence, temperance, courage and justice ´

Plato as philosopher explained seven ethical life. However, teacher's position confront decision making issue and dilemmas ethically. It is arguable  responsibility as teacher or humans. Teacher is belong to school system and school's society. However teacher is dealing with between morality and some difficulties (Tirri 1999) such with students, confidentiality, student's behaviours, minority's rights, inconsistent to follow common rules etc. During Carlos's webinar, learning of ethical decision making model were effective to go through process and be aware of process as teacher. Interesting view is that decision making models are circling again continuously like  perception- describing- identifying- projecting- selecting. This means that ethical issue are changing and changeable, need to rethink together requiring full participation with organizations and personnel. 

Carlos made own case study for us to think about principle of justice and ethical conduct. Case study explained that I assume as member of equality and equity committee in university, think about situation many women application in research centre rejected in first filter. It is because Dr. james who is professor and researcher for 20 years thought previous experiences with women student influenced to publications unexpectedly  because of women student's pregnancy. We had time to read case and comment on the padlet. Many of them commented that gender equality should be considered, gender should not be mentioned on the first filter for gender equality and need for proper welfare system.  This case study was well made and keen at certain situation and teaching field to think about gender equality. It also gave an idea to me that administration system in educational sector is still conservative to follow slow by slow. In this way, teacher's awareness of ethical and unethical situation will give an idea how to react and promote for education and equality and safety as well.

During Tiina's webinar, she was giving a lesson to us about safety and pedagogical welfare. She has mentioned psychological, physical, social and legal aspects of safety. I learnt that teacher's responsibilities as below:


When Tiina asked to us are you ready to response in any situations of bullying, sudden illness & threaten, fire, information security risk.  Her basic question like 

1.do you know school's address when you call to 112, how will yo explain where are you now, 
2.Can you leave your laptop, when you leave to other room because of urgent meeting or situation? 
3. What will you do in bullying situation to students? 

I then realised that there are many things to prepare and go through always as teacher especially as new teacher in new environment although I felt like I am ready and I know. We were talking about pedagogical wellbeing as well. I learnt pedagogical wellbeing can be individual and community level for students to support growth and learning additionally removing obstacles. Tiina asked is there any experience of pedagogical wellbeing? In my personal experiences, Special teacher helped to special need student to learn how to great properly and we all special need assistant agreed to react for student in same way to teach greetings. I think it was pedagogically rich and wellbeing. Because it helped to remove improper behaviours and learnt greetings in good manner. Pedagogically caring, using proper teaching methods will promote pedagogical wellbeing.

I can answer that I knew previous workplace school's address in order to call 112 for emergency. I experienced and witnessed certain situation in school. School cooperated to care whole students socially, psychically, physically, by mentioning and informing about available school's welfare service.
About question number 2, I will turn off laptop and leave to other place to prevent information leak and for information protection.  About question number 3, I witnessed student's bullying to others or other. I as special need assistant had to deal with situations by doing for example. interpreting and talking about situations between bullying students and bullied students, inform to parents and special teacher, filling out official form and asking for conformation with signature to teachers and president of school according to elementary school law. Additionally observing students whenever situations are needed. Bullying situations or similar bullying situation are highly required adult's interpretations to prevent worsen situations. Bullying happen on purpose and continuously. Bullying is very effective to gather powers and participation from other students  directly and indirectly. Teacher should be aware of how to dealing with classroom's managements with students those who are bullying students, bullied students, observed students, cheering bullying students, ignoring bullying and bullied students. Especially in VET, those who participate in TUVA or TELMA programme can be still teenagers under 18 years old. which means VET teacher's guidance can be critical for not only to students to parents. If student suffered from bullying situation in any how, I will be kindly asked to contact VET school's social worker, psychologist to go through situations, symptoms, prevention, after treatments.  



Interesting discussion topic were mainly 
1.  AI's plagiarism by students currently,

2. Teacher's wellbeing and preventing burnout

3. How to value for study and degree according to different culture and generation.

4. Do we need different way of teaching for students?


After participating and listening, I have own conclusion on discussions. AI's plagiarism by student's usage does not really need, if we accept different kind of teaching methods or assessment methods flexibly such as oral test in person what student can not really rely on AI's plagiarism. School needs flexibilities to follow technologies change quickly by prioritising of student's better learning properly. Interaction among students will help and promote to have social skills. Teacher's wellbeing and preventing burnout are definitely important. Following existed regulation and law related in safety will support teacher to be in safe and prevent burnout. Workloads as teacher can be fluctuating depending on sessions and cooperation. Be aware of burnout symptom quickly and having own habits are helpful to prevent from burnout. I truly understand teacher need adaptability to have flexible way of teaching for students rather different way of teaching. Value for study and degree can differ from culture and generation including each country's different educational system and curriculum. How to value for study and degree can be influential by teachers in my opinions. Students will spend on most of time to learn with students and depending on teacher to learn subjects by teachers. Having independent, social, and collaborative  skills are organizable by teacher during class. Teacher's care and value for student's learning, study and degree will be grateful influence to them!
 To know different value for study and degree, It will be good to check to follow favorite or disappeared occupation's change by time being. It can be measure to know different value for study and degree by such as different occupation acquired from abroad was recognized in Finland, how VET and supplement study modules have been developed in Finland and within EU. According to question number 3, we definitely different way of teaching for students. It is because information and knowledge can be acquired by searching via internet. However, students´s strong&weak points, own personality, character, health conditions, cultural inherit and sensitivity are recognizably not same levels, which means individualization and collaborations are needed to get along with. And way to use proper digital tech-knowledge are obviously required while teaching. Teacher´s ICT performance to teach students are highly needed. and Teacher should be qualified to use digital tools for research and teaching. And teacher should be prepared to teach students without any depending on digital tools as well just in case of emergency.
